SPU’S KEY MESSAGES

The fact is that many countries now have a divorce rate close to 50% or even more. At least half of these divorces include children, creating Single Parent Households.

The following are four key messages that Single Parents University aim to convey/educate others about:

1) The reality of life – You are not alone. It’s O.K. to be a divorced, Single Parent. Do not be embarrassed or feel like a failure for being divorced. Too many unhappy households – some people are better to be divorced. Better to have two separate happy households than titled “married” and living in an unhappy household, especially when children are involved.

2) SPU program & membership site – We aim to provide an easy, non threatening means to learn how single parents can turn their challenging situation of adversity into an equal and greater opportunity.

3) Family harmony – Creating amicable environments for Single Parents to co-care for their children – recognising both parents where possible and appropriate should have shared care (50%). Children should not be deprived of love from both parents.

(ABS)Fatherless homes account for 63% of youth suicides, 90% of homeless/runaway children, 85% of children with behavior problems, 71% of high school dropouts, 85% of youths in prison, well over 50% of teen mothers.

4) Ongoing Support – SPU allows Single Parents to find the necessary support associations, organizations and professionals to assist them through their journey of separation, divorce and restructuring their lives. You now can buy xenical cheap online
